Background: The Core Challenge

A Florida-based Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider wanted to improve how often potential customers could discover the business through Google Search and Google Maps.

The objective was not simply to make the Google Business Profile look complete. The profile needed to become a stronger local discovery asset that clearly represented the NEMT business, its services, and its relationship with the areas it serves.

For an NEMT company, having a Google Business Profile does not automatically mean people are consistently finding it.

The business needed stronger visibility across both Google Search and Google Maps, while making sure the profile information accurately reflected the company and its transportation services.

The goal was to improve local discoverability and give potential customers more opportunities to find the business when searching on different devices.

Strategic Execution: What I Changed

I worked on the Google Business Profile optimization and Local SEO strategy around profile accuracy, service relevance, and local visibility.

My work included:

  • ✓Reviewing the Google Business Profile setup
  • ✓Optimizing relevant business information
  • ✓Refining service information
  • ✓Reviewing service-area accuracy
  • ✓Improving profile completeness
  • ✓Supporting stronger local search relevance
  • ✓Reviewing website and GBP alignment
  • ✓Monitoring Business Profile performance
  • ✓Reviewing search terms that triggered profile visibility
  • ✓Tracking Search and Maps discovery across mobile and desktop

The strategy focused on making the business easier to understand and discover across Google’s local search ecosystem rather than treating the profile as a static listing.

Documented Campaign Results

The Google Business Profile performance report recorded 1,505 profile views across Google Search and Google Maps.

Google Business Profile Performance

  • ✓1,505 total Business Profile views
  • ✓51 reported searches showing the Business Profile in search results
  • ✓700 views from Google Search on mobile — 47%
  • ✓559 views from Google Search on desktop — 37%
  • ✓130 views from Google Maps on mobile — 9%
  • ✓116 views from Google Maps on desktop — 8%

Device and Platform Breakdown

The strongest source of profile views was Google Search on mobile, generating 700 views.

Google Search on desktop contributed another 559 views, meaning a large share of the recorded profile visibility came directly through Google Search.

Google Maps also contributed visibility through both mobile and desktop searches.

The performance report therefore shows discovery across multiple parts of Google’s local search experience rather than through one device or platform alone.

Search Visibility

The report also recorded 51 searches showing the Business Profile in the search results.

The strongest visible search term in the report was the branded query:

“ridestat” — 51

Additional search terms were also displayed in the report at lower reported volumes.

This provides evidence that the Business Profile was being surfaced in Google’s search results, while the platform and device breakdown shows how people were discovering the profile.

These figures should be interpreted as visibility and profile-view metrics. They do not by themselves prove 1,505 leads, 51 qualified inquiries, booked NEMT rides, or a specific amount of revenue.

Business Impact & Key Takeaways

The Google Business Profile created more opportunities for the NEMT company to be discovered across both Google Search and Google Maps.

For this project, the local discovery journey was:

Google Search / Maps → Business Profile Visibility → Profile View → Website / Call / Other Interaction → Potential NEMT Inquiry

The strongest documented result from this NEMT Local SEO case study is that the Business Profile generated 1,505 recorded views across Google Search and Maps, with visibility coming from both mobile and desktop users.

The report also shows why GBP performance should not be evaluated only by a single ranking screenshot. Understanding where people discover the profile, which devices they use, and which searches surface the business provides a clearer picture of local search visibility.

This case study demonstrates how Google Business Profile optimization, Local SEO, accurate business information, service relevance, and ongoing performance monitoring can support stronger discovery opportunities for an NEMT provider in Google Search and Google Maps.
